Setup was easy. Go Google!

Two registration machines is important - Can borrow machines from google.

Tags on nametags were really helpful, new flow encouraged them.

Would be nice to tag tables, just have paper + pens on workspaces. Let people self-organize.

Get back the announce bot (twitter + irc).

Mine tag data for interesting ways to connect people.

Sign-in still needs technical work.

Floating whiteboards were good.

Location was great.

A/V setup was off the hook.

Food was last minute but good.

Being in SF is good.

SF Location was great.

Saw numerous city-based-but-carless local geek friends show up for the first time.

Pool table and ping pong was great.

Google visualization api for using zip code data to get a heat map.

Signage could have been better.

More Lightning talks?

More sterile in the company setting, harder to talk to people. House is better for some people.

Company setting is more productive?

Potential to use food as a mixer, sun was a decent model for this.

Security was a small issue for google.

Security presence understandable, but initially unsettling. Felt followed around a bit.

Was a bit off put that some of the security seemed annoyed that we were there in the first place.

Was told A/C needed to be prescheduled, but then after pressing some buttons it seemed to kick in.

First empty google fridge award?

Encourage thanking support staff.

Streaming event! Link up lightning talks well. Post the link beforehand, talk about it on the website. Link freenode and ustream chat? Use google cameras for ustream.

No music at this event. Easy to do at this event. Made event feel more corporate.

No alcohol at this event. Easily could have, but forgot to buy some. No costco run.

Confluence of events that made it feel more corporate: lack of music, lack of beer, single room, not a house, lighting, table positioning. Didn't feel ad-hoc.

Parking for $5 all day long! Put where to park on the wiki.

Love Fest was a big unknown. Event calendars to cross reference? Parade calendar? Gov Cal?

More massage chairs!

Central point of contact, at least in the beginning. Get people to the list faster.

Google interested in other developer events.

T-shirts! Nice, but expensive. DIY options? Seek sponsorship?

Next devhouse!

Nov 15th @ rainbow. Thanksgiving is the 24th or something.
