PBwiki came out of the first SuperHappyDevHouse at the end of May, 2005. After working on BotBlock a bit, I decided to put together a simple password-protected wiki service at 1am, dubbing it PBwiki (short for Peanut Butter Wiki - as in, as easy as making a peanut butter sandwich) and finishing a beta by 8am at the end of the dev house. Two days later, I released it and two days after that we had 1000 users. I decided to drop my other projects and focus on PBwiki. Now we've got tens of thousands of wikis, a fast-growing revenue stream, and partnerships with large companies. :)

Um, what?
So I was talking with another person about an idea for a new type of school, and one of the meetro guys stumbles into our conversation. He listens for a short while and then slurs something to the effect of: "What do you think about that $100 laptop idea?! Huh? What do you think about that?".

Beer
It got hard to focus and/or talk to others with the meetro guys shouting "Beer! Beer! Beer! Beer! Beer! Beer! Beer! Beer! Beer! Beer! Beer!".

Reformed Meetro
The Meetro guys held a special place in our hearts as disruptive after SHDH6, but at this last event they were just as fun without the extra "disruptive" qualities. I hope the Meetro Team continues to attend and add to the life of SHDH.
